“Sunday services can oftentimes seem to be inward focused as we try
to minister to the fellowship at large, however, that inward focus is
to prepare us to reach out to a world in need. There are so many needs
right here in West Hartford, and we want to contribute to ministering
those needs.”
Bill LaMorey, Lead Pastor
There will be no church service Sunday, March 21. Regular services will resume Palm Sunday, March 28.
On Sunday, March 21, more than 100 Calvary Fellowship members will
prepare care packages for deployed military service members, clean
wheelchairs at Brookdale Nursing Home, work in the warehouse at “A Hand
Up,” participate in grounds maintenance at Sedgwick Middle School,
collect food for the West Hartford Food Pantry and prepare cookie care
packages for local businesses. Other potential outreach opportunities
include preparing Easter baskets for children admitted to Connecticut
Children’s Hospital and guests living at Interval House, writing Easter
cards for patients at local nursing homes and much more.
